About Dasyhub
In 2023, I was faced with the challenge of developing a new digital application that had to fulfil certain requirements. The main focus was on simple, secure and flexible synchronisation of data and files without being tied to a synchronisation provider during development.
But there was a catch
Simple synchronisation
There were certain key requirements for this new application that had to be met by the chosen synchronisation platform.
- Connection of the application via an API
- Various methods for authentication
- The application itself should not require an account with the synchronisation platform, only enable the connection
- Users of the application would create an account with the synchronisation platform and have control over their own data
One requirement in particular could not be realised by any of the providers:
External applications that should be used to synchronise files must have an account with the providers and link this to the application.
That was a no-go!
None of the existing solutions were an option.
Dasyhub your data synchronisation hub
The idea was born: a synchronisation solution that is free from the restrictions of existing providers.
- Is flexible enough to work with different systems
- Can be continuously further developed to fulfil growing requirements
- Available as an on-premises version so that companies can store their data on their own hardware (available soon)
Dasyhub has created a completely new type of data synchronisation - independent and highly customisable.
